Regional Dealerships are now Participating in Horror Crash Safety Promotions
Regional dealerships and ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program) are officially partnering together to promote how new cars safety features are holding up when placed in a life-like car accident.
ANCAP's chief James Goodwin says, "The project is designed to provide awareness of the latest safety technology."
Whilst buyers don't like to think about the possibility of car accidents as such, car dealerships believe taking this unusual approach is extremely important in the car buying experience.
This campaign roadshow is believed to be quite successful as the results are showing that potential buyers are well receptive to this approach. According to ANCAP, there is some peace of mind given to the buyer from showing how well protected they are.
Mr Goodwin says, "It is important we bring our display vehicles to regional dealerships as two thirds [66%] of all road deaths occur in regional and remote areas."
